Stars for a New Day

Sue Garman has designed this showstopper and now you can recreate it!

Sue is known for her wonderfully detailed & illustrated patterns. Over the course of twelve months, she will help you improve your piecing skills while you create this beauty.

The quilt finishes at 85” square. We’ll be showcasing a variety of Marcus and Andover prints for this quilt, with the primary fabrics being the swatches shown below. The quilt starts with a center block, set on point, and has a multitude of borders.  Alternative patterns to simplify some of the more complex blocks or borders are included throughout this twelve month series.  Instructions for using paper foundations are included

The pattern set retails for $78 but we are currently sold out of the pattern set.

Or, join us in the monthly journey to making this quilt. The first kits will ship in March, 2012.

Sample fabrics to be featured in quilt

You’ll need to purchase your background fabric separately. We’re using Moda’s Primitive Muslin in the Tallow Shade. You need 6 ½ yards. If you join the BOM with us, you can get your background at a 20% discount. Normally, the 6 ½ yards would be $65.00. BOM customers will get it at $52. We’ll ship the background fabric with your month 1 kit.

Monthly kits will include the pattern and all fabrics for the section featured. Kits are just $20.95. All spots in the program are currently filled. We should be shipping by early April.

All of our Special Programs or Monthly Programs require a commitment from you for the length of the program. Signing up for a Block of the Month is the same as putting a "quilt" on lay-away. You are making a commitment to purchase the entire set of patterns or kits. You have the choice of prepaying for the entire BOM or paying on a monthly basis. There are NO exceptions to this rule, so please don't ask if you can discontinue a program once you've joined in.
