CUSTOMS, DUTIES AND TAXES
There are times when you will encounter additional fees for your package. Countries and post offices have varying rules on these fees. These fees are the responsibility of the customer it is being delivered to. We recommend that you become familiar with your country’s policies. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any delays due to Customs Office policies. Please do not ask us to mis-state the value of your package or otherwise provide information designed to avoid required duties and taxes.
BLOCKS OF THE MONTH:
At this time ALL Blocks of the Month ship by the weight of the package and the destination zip code. At this time, we can’t find a cheaper alternative than weight-based shipping since some of our packages are below 13 ounces and thus still qualify for first class shipping. We work hard to bring you the lowest possible price on our BOM programs, so we can't extend free shipping to them. We also NEVER charge an enrollment fee or a handling fee. When comparing pricing, make sure you factor in all those extras like a sign-up fee and handling fees that often occur when "free" shipping is offered.
With BOMS, we charge actual shipping charges based on the weight and destination of the order. To estimate your shipping charges, you can go to www.usps.com and enter the requested information. Our zip code is 65265. To help, one yard of fabric weights just under a pound so shipping is usually in a flat rate priority envelope as our post office is strict about anything over 13 ounces shipping flat rate. Five yards weighs about 1 3/4 pounds.
***We reserve the right to change our Policies when needed.
