A Collection of Scraps

Super scrappy quilts have always been one of our favorites. When those scraps are luscious Kansas Troubles prints we’re even happier. Join us in making the Collection of Scraps quilt featuring all Kansas Troubles fabrics.

The quilt finishes at a whopping 114” square. The picture shows both the overall quilt and close-up of a corner so you can see the piecing.  The quilt is constructed with all squares and rectangles so this is easy piecing. You’ll need the booklet for the pattern which retails for $10.95. Order it here.

We’ll be kitting using Lynne’s gorgeous fabrics from a wide array of her lines for Moda. This is a 13 month program. You’ll make three of the pieced blocks and part of the pieced border in months 1-12, then finish the quilt in month 13.

In month 1 you’ll receive all of the light tan background for the pieced border along with fabrics for 3 pieced blocks and part of the pieced border. Month 1 is $42.45. Months 2-12 are $15.95 and then in month 13 you’ll receive the outer borders and binding fabric for $45.95. Lynne used a great brown tonal print for her outer border, but we’ll be happy to substitute for a different color if you prefer something else.

The first kits will ship in April, 2012. Reserve your spot now!

All of our Special Programs or Monthly Programs require a commitment from you for the length of the program. Signing up for a Block of the Month is the same as putting a "quilt" on lay-away". You are making a commitment to purchase the entire set of patterns or kits. You have the choice of prepaying for the entire BOM or paying on a monthly basis. There are NO exceptions to this rule, so please don't ask if you can discontinue a program once you've joined in.

Most programs have an optional finishing or sashing kit which you may decide to purchase at the end of the program. We'll give you details on the finishing kit as the program is winding down & you may decide then what to do.
