Tales of First Ladies

Celebrate some of America’s First Ladies with this new quilt from Eleanor Burns. Finishing at 96” square, the quilt combines piecing and applique in a beautiful design.


You’ll need Eleanor’s book for the patterns. It retails for $24.95 but members of our program will receive a 25% discount on the book when we process your order, making it just $18.71. Order the book here.

Then, reserve your spot to receive monthly kits to make the quilt. We’ll closely follow the color plan used by Eleanor using our extensive selection of 1800s prints.

Monthly kits are just $17.95 and the first kit will ship in May, 2012. This is a 12 month program.

All of our Special Programs or Monthly Programs require a commitment from you for the length of the program. Signing up for a Block of the Month is the same as putting a "quilt" on lay-away". You are making a commitment to purchase the entire set of patterns or kits. You have the choice of prepaying for the entire BOM or paying on a monthly basis. There are NO exceptions to this rule, so please don't ask if you can discontinue a program once you've joined in.

Most programs have an optional finishing or sashing kit which you may decide to purchase at the end of the program. We'll give you details on the finishing kit as the program is winding down & you may decide then what to do.
