Shipping

We ship via US Postal Service, usually priority mail unless another method is requested. We charge actual shipping charges based on the weight and destination of the order. To estimate your shipping charges, you can go to www.usps.com and enter the requested information. Our zip code is 65265. To help, one yard of fabric weights just under a pound so shipping is usually $4.95 in a flat rate priority envelope. Five yards weighs about 1 3/4 pounds.

Because the USPS sometimes misplaces packages we have started adding Delivery Confirmation to most packages for an additional 65 cent charge. That helps protect both of us so that we can track down your package if it goes missing.

If you want to be 100% certain that your package is protected, then we recommend that you request shipping insurance. We will insure your package based on its value and then if your package is lost in the mail, you can file a claim to recover your costs.

We do have an estimated shipping calculator built into the online shopping card, but it will almost always reflect a HIGH estimate of shipping. Your actual costs are generally lower.HOWEVER, when ordering sale fabric or other sale items, please be aware that the cart estimates shipping based on cost of the order so sale shipping will be listed as too low in the cart and we may contact you to discuss shipping options and costs.
