Once again, we have partnered with a fabulous group of Australian designers for the 2011 edition of Quilt Aid to benefit the The Fistula Foundation. A significant portion of profits from the designer, the store and the fabric sold in each kit will be donated to the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia through The Fistula Foundation in the USA and the Hamlin Fistula® Relief and Aid Fund in Australia.
Visit six different stores to pick up your 12 blocks. Be sure to see each store's finishing kit and select your favorite to put your blocks together.
Homestead Hearth is thrilled to be the home for original blocks by Gail Pan and Brenda Ryan. Block kits which include a pattern and fabrics to make the block are $16 each. Click on each block to order it.
Be sure to visit all the participating Quilt Aid 2011 stores to purchase your blocks and see each store's finishing kit. Here is our finishing design--we chose to keep it simple this year so you can focus on the lovely handwork of the blocks. Supplies are limited as the fabric is not being reprinted so reserve your kit early. They will start shipping the week of November 7, 2011.
