Covering America
|
Designed by Lynn Lister, the Covering America quilt unites 50 state quilt blocks into one quilt. Finishing at 77 ½” x 90 ½”, this quilt is an Americana dream showcasing a special block for each state with an assortment of rich, patriotic fabrics. |
To participate in our monthly program, you’ll need the McCall’s Quilting booklet which retails for $12.95. The booklet includes full instructions, rotary cutting instructions, templates and technique guidelines so you can hand or machine piece. Our fabric kits will include sufficient fabric to allow either option. |

Each month for twelve months, you’ll receive a fabric kit designed to allow you to construct four of the state blocks. Along the way, you’ll also receive the fabrics needed for the pieced border. And, then in the final two months, you’ll receive fabric for the setting triangles and inner borders & binding. In two of the months, we’ll include a bonus block so you’ll end up with the 50 total blocks!
Monthly kits are just $14.95 plus actual shipping. Shipping shown in the shopping cart is an estimate only & actual shipping is expected to be via first class mail at a lower rate.
Covering America will begin shipping in November 2008.
All of our Special Programs or Monthly Programs require a commitment from
you for the length of the program. Signing up for a Block of the Month is the
same as putting a "quilt" on lay-away. You are making a commitment
to purchase the entire set of patterns or kits. You have the choice of prepaying
for the entire BOM or paying on a monthly basis. There are NO exceptions to
this rule, so please don't ask if you can discontinue a program once you've
joined in.
