Prairie Peony

Edyta Sitar always has the most amazing quilts in her booth and this market was no exception. While we loved everything, the first project we singled out was Prairie Peony.

This 83” square quilt showcases a mixture of 1800s prints along with batiks and prints from Edya’s own lines. We’ll be kitting this based on Edyta’s own recommendations for the background and sashing from her upcoming Dancing in the Rain line. We’ll also provide the same border print that Edyta used!

Start by ordering the pattern. It retails for $24.95 and is available here.

Then, sign up to receive a total of 13 monthly kits to make the quilt. Month 1 will include all of your background, binding  and sashing fabrics from Edyta’s Dancing in the Rain line along with the sunflower print border shown along with fabrics to make one block. Then in months 2-13, we’ll send you fabrics to make 2 additional blocks each month.

Moda has this fabric scheduled for delivery in late October, 2012. We’ll ship as soon as we receive it so plan on early November, 2012 for the first kit.

The Month 1 kit will be $62.95. Kits for months 2-13 will be just $14.95. Reserve your spot here.

We ordered a set quantity of fabric to offer these kits so don’t delay in signing up. Once the fabrics are gone, they’re gone.

All of our Special Programs or Monthly Programs require a commitment from you for the length of the program. Signing up for a Block of the Month is the same as putting a "quilt" on lay-away". You are making a commitment to purchase the entire set of patterns or kits. You have the choice of prepaying for the entire BOM or paying on a monthly basis. There are NO exceptions to this rule, so please don't ask if you can discontinue a program once you've joined in.

Most programs have an optional finishing or sashing kit which you may decide to purchase at the end of the program. We'll give you details on the finishing kit as the program is winding down & you may decide then what to do.
