Penny Mat of the Month Club

We love working with wool and we’ve been looking for a project that would introduce folks to this wonderful material on a small scale. Buttermilk Basin just debuted a fantastic collection of small mats that will help you decorate your home throughout the year while you master wool applique.

Starting in June, we’ll send you a pattern and a fabric kit to make the mat very similar to the mat shown on the pattern cover using hand-dyed wools. Each mat is 8 ½”. We’re offering special pricing on this kit with pattern of just $12.50 per month when you commit to buy all 12 kits. The pattern only retails for $5.99 so this is a fantastic bargain.

The projects for each month are pictured below. In June, we will ship you the kit for the August pattern, so you can actually finish the project in time to decorate your home.

All of our Special Programs or Monthly Programs require a commitment from you for the length of the program. Signing up for a Block of the Month is the same as putting a "quilt" on lay-away. You are making a commitment to purchase the entire set of patterns or kits. You have the choice of prepaying for the entire BOM or paying on a monthly basis. There are NO exceptions to this rule, so please don't ask if you can discontinue a program once you've joined in.
