Heartland Heritage program

Pam Buda has designed a gorgeous sampler quilt that will hone your piecing skills while you create a family heirloom.

The quilt finishes at 60 ½” x 75 ½”. It features 12 pieced blocks, pieced sashing and borders.

To start, you’ll need the pattern which retails for $18. Pam strongly suggests you use the 4 ½” Easy Angle to simplify piecing in several of the blocks. You can add it to your order here.

Then, decide if you like the 1800s version or the Kansas Troubles version best.

The 1800s version will feature the colors shown pulled from our large selection of 1800s prints.

The Kansas Troubles version will include only Kansas Troubles fabrics and we’ll use a red floral border from an upcoming Kansas Troubles line.

Monthly kits for either option are just $13.95. The first kits will ship in October, 2011, so reserve your spot now. This is a 13 month program and by the end you’ll have all fabrics needed for the top and binding.

All of our Special Programs or Monthly Programs require a commitment from you for the length of the program. Signing up for a Block of the Month is the same as putting a "quilt" on lay-away. You are making a commitment to purchase the entire set of patterns or kits. You have the choice of prepaying for the entire BOM or paying on a monthly basis. There are NO exceptions to this rule, so please don't ask if you can discontinue a program once you've joined in.
